Denttio digital x-ray products come with a one-year limited warranty that includes technical support Any deviation from this statement will only apply by a prior negotiated written agreement. The information below is a description of Denttio's Digital X-Ray Sensor Standard Warranty and Extended Warranty for systems sold in the United States. NOTE: This informationapplies to the United States only, unless specifically stated otherwise.
Digital X-Ray Sensor Standard Warranty and Extended Warranty (United States Only)
Denttio Inc. (the "DENTTIO") warrants to the original Customer that the Digital Radiography System, which includes Digital X-Ray Sensor (the "Product"), will be free from material defects in material with workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of invoice (the "Warranty Period"). During the Warranty Period, DENTTIO will repair Product not meeting the foregoing Digital X-Ray Product Standard Warranty (or at its option, replace such Product with a reconditioned Product) at no charge. Any replacement or repaired Product will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period. If neither repair nor replacement is reasonably available, DENTTIO may elect instead, at its option, to accept return of the Product and exchange with other DENTTIO's Product or credit the purchase price of the Product. This DigitalX-Ray Product Standard Warranty extends only to the original Customer and is not transferable to anyone else
This warranty does not cover Software (please refer to "Software License and Limited Warranty"for its warranty), including the operating system and software added to the hardware products through factory-integration system, and 3rd-party software, or the reloading of software; damage due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, servicing not authorized by DENTTIO, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failureto perform required preventative maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by DENTTIO; and products for which DENTTIO has not received payment, unless agreed otherwise. Non-DENTTIO-branded hardware are covered by its own manufacturer's warranty.
DENTTIO will repair or replace products returned to DENTTIO facility during the warranty period. To request warranty service, you must call DENTTIO within the warranty period. Refer to the chapter titled "Troubleshooting" in your system's user's manual to find the appropriate telephone number for obtaining customer assistance. To obtain warranty service you must: (a) obtain a return materials authorization number (RMA#) from DENTTIO, and (b) deliver the Product, in accordance with the instructions provided by DENTTIO, along with proof of purchase in the form of a copy of the bill of sale including the Product's serial number, contact information, RMA#, and detailed description of the defect, in either its original package or packaging providing the Product with a degree of protection equivalent to that of the original packaging to DENTTIO. You are fully responsible for the shipping costs to both send and receive repaired products and insuring the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. DENTTIO is not responsible or liable for any loss or damage to the Product during transportation. Be sure to remove or disconnect all parts, cables, cord, options, holders and attachments prior to delivering the Product. You must ship the products back to DENTTIO in their original or equivalent packaging and prepay shipping charges. DENTTIO will ship the repaired or replacement products to you if you use an address in the United States.
DENTTIO shall not be liable under this Digital X-Ray Product Standard Warranty if DENTTIO (a) cannot reproduce the alleged defect in its testing and examination of the Product or (b) discovers that the Product is excluded from coverage under this Digital X-Ray Product Standard Warranty.
DENTTIO owns all parts removed from repaired products. DENTTIO uses new and reconditioned parts made by various manufacturers in performing warranty repairs and building replacement products. If DENTTIO repairs or replaces a product, its warranty term is not extended.
The digital x-ray sensor is a high quality, but sensitive device, and must be treated with care and reasonable caution. Over the time in its normal use, the image quality may differ from the 1st day of its purchase. This warranty does not cover its degenerated image quality (e.g. dull, grainy, spotted, lined images and etc.) due to its use over time. This Digital X-Ray Product Standard Warranty does not cover any accessories (such as AC adaptors), consumables (such as batteries) supplied with this Product, cosmetic damage (including, but not limited to, damage caused by a bite on the surface of the sensor), damage due to (a) acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, abnormal or unusually heavy use, causes external to the Product such as but not limited to excessive heat or humidity, or modifications to this Product, (b) improper installation, operation, testing, or maintenance of this Product, (c) power failure or connections to improper voltage supply, or (d) attempted repair by any party other than DENTTIO. This Digital X-Ray Product Standard Warranty does not apply when malfunction results from the use of the Product in conjunction with accessories, products or ancillary or peripheral equipment not provided by DENTTIO, or where it is determined by DENTTIO that the Product itself complies with the Digital X-Ray Product Standard Warranty. This Digital X-Ray Product Standard Warranty does not apply if the Product is damaged by Electrostatic Discharges (ESD); is damaged as a result of autoclaving the sensor; is immersed in any liquid such as disinfectants, alcohol or any other liquid; is damaged as a result of shock impact (such as dropping the Productor banging against hard object), which may cause damage to the internal components of the sensor (e.g. Fiber Optics, Scintillator, CMOS, connectors and etc..), and as a result, the distorted images might appear as watermarks, cracked lines, black dots, white/black or blank images; or is damaged as a result of clamping the Product (sensor) with hemostats or other utensils that deform, dent or bend the enclosure. This Digital X-Ray Product Standard Warranty does not cover damage to the cable as a result of (a) severe, repeated bending of the cable at the sensor end leading to damage to internal conductors; (b) cuts, abrasions, severe bend radius, or chemical damage of the cable exposing internal conductors or causing discontinuity of the internal conductors; or (c) damage to the cable connectors as a result of improper insertion into the USB Interface electronics, or pulling of cable resulting in a disconnect of internal components.
